Back to 1968: A Time Machine from an Antique Market A snowdrift from 1968 and a car trapped in it, captured in a vintage newspaper photo—that’s how my unexpected story of time travel begins. At an antique market, by an incredible coincidence, I bought an original license plate that belongs to the exact same vehicle from this historic photo. This license plate has been invalid for 50 years, but as a rare collector’s item, it literally brought the past to life right before my eyes. Today, I stand proudly with this metal artifact in my hands in front of the old photograph, experiencing a unique, tangible connection between two different eras. It’s the best proof that you don’t actually need a famous flux capacitor to truly travel back in time and touch history.
