Tuning Volkswagen cars in the 1990s was mainly about striking visuals and the courage to go to extremes.
Wide body kits, massive fender extensions, deep bumpers, and, of course, large rear wings were all the rage. Chrome wheels, lowered suspensions, and colorful paint jobs that could be seen from afar also played an important role. The result was a style that seems a little crazy today, but for many, it remains iconic and nostalgic.
