Heute trifft man ihn gelegentlich in extremen Umbauten: Ziehst du ihm riesige Offroad-Reifen auf, sieht es sofort so aus, als wolle er die Dakar über den Gehweg vorm Plattenbau fahren. Das Fahrwerk flüstert zwar noch „ich bin zivil“, aber die Räder brüllen: „ab ins Schlamm, Kumpel!“
